UChicago Guest Wireless Self-Registration

The University of Chicago provides access to the University's wireless network to faculty, students, researchers, staff, and guests on campus.

Guests and visitors can use the uchicago-guest network to have a fast and reliable connection while on campus.

Register to the Guest Network

To register an account to the Guest Network, follow the instructions below.

1. Connect to uchicago-guest from the Wi-Fi network tab on your device. Users on Eduroam may also register a Guest account for a visitor by going to guestregistration.uchicago.edu.
2. Enter your Name and Email Address, then check the I accept the terms field under Confirm. Then, select Register. If you are registering a Guest account for someone else, enter their name and email address instead of your own. 
   
    
3. You will be prompted to enter a Username and Password. Check your email for an email from CPPM_do_not_reply@uchicago.edu that will contain the Wi-Fi Network, your username, password, allotted time, and contact information to log in to the network. If you registered a Guest account for someone else, such as a visitor to campus, the email will go to their inbox. 
    
4. Enter your Username and Password and check the I accept the terms of use field. Please wait a moment until there is a successful connection. This may take up to 10 seconds.
