Synchronize Canvas calendar to Google Calendar

Follow the below instructions to synchronize your Canvas Calendar with Google Calendar:

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Open Google calendar
  2. Click on Settings; it’s the gear icon on the top
  3. On this page click on Settings for my Calendars on the left-hand side bar
  4. Choose the calendar that you’d like to add to Canvas page
  5. In the new window scroll down to the embed code link
  6. Copy the link and go back to Canvas
  7. Open a new Page in Canvas
  8. Name it and click on the </> icon on the bottom of the text box and paste the embed code copied from Google settings in the text box
  9. Click Save

The calendar will update whenever you add or delete items from your Google calendar.
